Rechargeable batteries such as lithium-ion batteries, and small electronic devices such as electric shavers and mobile batteries that cannot be removed should be disposed of as "hazardous items."
Accidental mixing with non-burnable garbage or combustible garbage may lead to fire within the waste treatment facility, leading to machine damage, worker accidents, delays in collection, and suspension of transportation to the facility. increase.
Before disposing of garbage, make sure it is separated correctly.
Note: Small electronic devices whose rechargeable batteries cannot be removed can also be collected at the collection boxes for small electronic devices installed at 11 locations in the city.

How to dispose and precautions when disposing

  • Put them in a plastic bag and put them out. In particular, put batteries and mercury thermometers in separate bags.
  • Fluorescent lamps should be left as they are. If there are two or more, please tie them with a string before disposing of them.
  • Put cellophane tape on both sides of button batteries to insulate them before disposing of them.
  • For small electronic devices whose rechargeable batteries cannot be removed, do not dispose of them as non-burnable garbage, but put cellophane tape or the like on the terminals and dispose of them as "hazardous items" or put them in the "collection box for small electronic devices."
  • Insulate rechargeable batteries with cellophane tape, etc., and either dispose of them as "hazardous items" or bring them to a "recycling cooperating store" in the city.
  • Spray cans, cassette gas cylinders, and lighters should be used up before disposing of them. If it cannot be used up, please dispose of it as it is without making a hole, as it may catch fire.
