On October 9, 2024, a report meeting was held at the Central Cultural Center Hall for athletes with ties to Inagi City who participated in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
On that day, Inagi City hometown athletes Kazuki Nanano (para table tennis) and Naoki Hagiwara (goalball) took the stage to report on their fierce battles at the Paralympics.
Additionally, representatives from their alma maters, Wakabadai Elementary School and Nagamine Elementary School, answered questions from the audience, and about 200 citizens gathered at the venue were greatly excited.
However, regarding Yoshiko Sugiura, a resident of Inagi City who participated in the women's road cycling event at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and won a gold medal, she was unable to attend the report meeting due to scheduling conflicts.
