Naming of "Onekan Warrior Inagi Pedalion"!!
On November 13, 2021 (Saturday), a new original character representing Inagi City, designed by mechanic designer Kunio Okawara, was born. The name of this character was publicly solicited last year, and we received 412 entries. Thank you for your many submissions.
The decided name was announced at the "Mechanic Designers Summit Vol.09" on March 26, 2022 (Saturday) at 2 PM.

Name of Inagi City's Original Character

Anyone who has an attachment to Inagi City
Application Method
- Postcard or email.
- When applying, please include (1) the proposed character name and its reading, along with the reason for the name proposal, (2) address, (3) name (in furigana), (4) age, (5) gender, and (6) phone number. Please note that if there are any deficiencies in the items (1) to (6), the application will be disqualified.
- For email submissions, please include "Character Name Application" in the subject line.
- For each application, only one character name proposal can be submitted. If multiple character name proposals are submitted, the application will be disqualified.
- You can apply for as many cases as you want alone.

From November 15, 2021 (Monday) to December 24, 2021 (Friday) (must arrive by this date)
Selection Criteria, etc.
- The proposed name should be suitable for the city's original character.
- It is a proposed name that does not infringe on the rights of third parties.
- It should not be identical to company names, product names, or any names related to profit.
Selection Method, etc.
- The name proposals submitted will be decided after selection by city officials.
- There may be additional work done by the city when deciding the name.
- If there are no applicable works, it may be unavoidable to postpone the decision.
Notes
- The application name must be original and unpublished.
- All rights to the application name belong to Inagi City.
- The decided name will be announced in the city's public relations magazine and other media. Furthermore, the author of the name is assumed to have agreed in advance to the publication of the name and the author's name.
- The city will use the personal information submitted for the application only for the tasks related to the name decision specified in these guidelines, and will manage it appropriately.

A monument has also been installed along the Minami-Tama Ridge Main Line in Inagi Central Park. Please make sure to visit the site.
