Inagi, the Bicycle Town

In Inagi City, there are many places to enjoy cycling, such as the Tama River Cycling Road and the Minami-Tama Ridge Main Road, attracting many cyclists from both inside and outside the city.
In 2018, we introduced a bike-sharing system and are focusing on improving the environment to enhance mobility within the city.
Furthermore, the cycling course for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (road race) passed through the city.
Moving forward, we will continue to promote community development that is attractive to cyclists under the slogan "Bicycle Town Inagi."
Note: Due to the revision of the Road Traffic Act, wearing a helmet while riding a bicycle has become a matter of effort as of April 1, 2023. We have heard from the operating business operators that helmets will not be provided at bike-sharing stations due to hygiene and safety issues related to size mismatches. However, we encourage users of the bike-sharing system to actively wear helmets for their own safety.
