Request to set up a "Kodomo 110" house
Updated: February 2nd, 2021
overview
In the city, we are promoting the establishment of "Kodomo 110" house as a place where children can ask for help in case of emergency such as when children and students go to school.
We are looking for people who can become a "Children's 110" house where children can run and evacuate in case of emergency.
We would like children to be able to ask for help with peace of mind by asking them to put up nameplates that serve as landmarks for the homes of "Children's 110". By hanging such a nameplate on the entrance etc., it is thought that it will also be a crime prevention measure.
We would like to ask for your understanding of these purports, and regarding the installation of the "Children's 110" house as follows.
Installation home, etc.
A home where someone is likely to be at home on a daily basis.
Households (shops, etc.) that can provide temporary protection and call the police when a child or student asks for help
Installation period
As long as there is no problem at home
Installation location
- A gate that faces a road or aisle, or an entrance that can be seen from the road.
- Near the entrance of shops, etc.
- Near the entrance of each home such as housing complexes and condominiums (regardless of the number of floors)
Liability issues, etc.
If a child or student under temporary protection is injured, the "Kodomo 110" house will not be held responsible.
It is just a request for protection as a temporary evacuation shelter.
