How the Council Proceeds

On the first day of the Regular Session (held four times a year), an explanation of the reasons for the proposal of the agenda items will be provided.
The submitted agenda items will, in principle, be referred to the committee for detailed examination. The progress and results of the examination in the committee will be reported in the subsequent plenary session, followed by discussions for and against, and then a vote will be conducted.
Additionally, separate from the agenda items, general questions regarding the overall City Administration, such as the mayor's thoughts, and representative questions (questions regarding the mayor's policy statement or administrative policy) will be held in the first half of the session in the March Regular Session.
