Response

The active requirements for the right to run for office include being a Japanese citizen and being above a certain age (Senators and prefectural governors must be at least 30 years old, while members of the House of Representatives, prefectural assembly members, mayors, and municipal assembly members must be at least 25 years old). Additionally, it is necessary to have the right to vote in elections for members of local government assemblies.
