QuestionReason why Inagi City does not outsource administrative tasks to the Tokyo Fire Department

Response

Fire administration is defined in Article 6 of the Fire Organization Act as "the responsibility of municipalities regarding fire services," stating that "municipalities have the responsibility to adequately fulfill fire services within their respective areas." Furthermore, according to Article 7 of the Fire Organization Act, the management of municipal fire services is to be overseen by the mayor in accordance with municipal ordinances.
Based on this, our city has established the Inagi City Fire Department, fire stations, and Branch Offices as part of the city's fire system, promoting fire prevention, emergency services, and firefighting operations as city employees to ensure the safety and security of our citizens.
