Part 1: 20th Anniversary Project Planning Course "Mysteries of the Universe"

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its establishment, we will welcome Professor Emeritus Yoji Ozaki, an astronomer from the University of Tokyo, to give a lecture on "The Wonders of the Universe."

The ultimate goal of research aimed at space science is,

  1. What is the nature of the universe we live in?
  2. Where we come from and where we are going

It is to clarify the two major themes. Over the past hundred years, scientific advancements have remarkably progressed our understanding of the "evolution of the universe" from its birth to the present. What has been revealed is something that can be described as a grand epic. In this lecture, I would like to talk about the "nature of the universe" as revealed by modern science, and how we are deeply connected to the universe.

Part 2: Introduction Event for October Professor Courses

The 33rd "Professor Course" will start in October, where everyone can practice the idea that "learning is fun" in the community. In this event, we will have the teachers who will give presentations in person to promote the courses. (For teachers who cannot attend, we will show a video summarizing the course content in about 5 minutes each.) This is also a great opportunity to explore new fields, so please come to the venue.
