Encounter with Spartan Race
I continued track and field with the aim of participating in the Hakone Ekiden, but when I was in my second year of university, I decided to retire from competition due to an injury that I had suffered for five and a half years. At that time, I happened to find a Spartan race on a video site and became interested in it. In the first open race I participated in, I finished second out of 3,600 people. I was. After that, I took a two-year leave of absence from university and continued training until I became strong enough to be selected for the Japan national team. Currently, while belonging to a professional Spartan race team, he is also a student at Tokyo Metropolitan University, and has launched the "Leonidas Running Club Inagi", where he also teaches children's running and adult running. After finishing university or work, I practice running and carrying weights in parks and other places in the city.
