My Town Inagi 2022 Mr. Ran Inoue

Updated: February 12, 2022

WORLD HIPHOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2021 runner-up

"KONAMI JBSTAR", to which Ran Inoue (third-year high school student) who lives in the city belongs, participated in the hip-hop dance world competition "WORLD HIPHOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2021" held remotely on October 9, 2021. and finished second in the Mega Crew category (a category in which teams of 15 to 40 people compete). Out of the 21 participating teams, "KONAMI JBSTAR" performed a "Happy Dance" that made the audience happy, earning 7.47 points out of 10 in the finals and finishing second.
When Mr. Inoue saw his favorite anime characters dancing when he was in the first grade of elementary school, he wanted to be like them, so he started practicing dancing at Konami Sports Club Inagi. Then, when I was in the first year of junior high school, I passed the audition for the selected team "JBSTAR", participated in team practice on days off from school, and continued to practice independently while working with the selected team.

Mr. Inoue said that he intends to graduate from the selected team after graduating from high school. When asked about an event that left an impression on her during her 12 years of dancing since the first grade of elementary school, she said, "When I was in the second year of junior high school, I was aiming to become a regular on the selected team, so I practiced more on my own and was able to become a regular. 's hard work changed my dance life." In addition, he looked back with a smile, saying, "It was a fulfilling 12 years that I completed without regrets."
When asked about her future activities, she said, "I want to continue dancing in circles even after I become a university student. I also want to use my experience so far to teach." Let's look forward to seeing what Mr. Inoue, who worked hard every day and achieved a wonderful result of 2nd place in the final world competition, will do on the new stage.
