Opened in 1977. Located in the city center, with the Tama Hills rising in front and the Misawa River flowing behind, this junior high school is blessed with a rich natural environment.
Our school is committed to enhancing students' individuality and improving lessons through educational activities that cultivate the ability to live together with others, in collaboration with the community. We also promote "visible school management" and "community-based parenting" through events such as lectures and salon concerts, which see active participation from parents and local residents. Furthermore, with the motto of educational activities created by students, we strive to nurture "students filled with confidence and vitality."
