"The Bird of Inagi City" has been decided as the "Common Kestrel"!
Presented at the 15th I Town Inagi Citizen Festival
As a commemorative project for the 45th anniversary of city administration, we have decided that the "City Bird," which symbolizes the city's journey so far, will be the "Common Kestrel."
In making the decision, three meetings were held by the "City Bird Review Citizens' Committee" composed of experts, related organizations, and publicly recruited citizens, and based on the results of the citizen vote, it was decided to select the "Common Kestrel".
"Chogenbo" is a type of falcon the size of a pigeon, and can be seen in areas such as near the Kasayato Bridge in the city.
