Tama New Town area

Updated: December 5, 2019

The Tama New Town project was completed in March 2006, approximately 40 years after the city planning decision was made in 1965. The project area in Inagi City is approximately 292 hectares, and the project is called "Fine Hill Inagi," which consists of three residential areas: Koyodai, Nagamine, and Wakabadai.Based on the land use plan that inherited the city's urban development concept, the project has a planned population of 29,000 people. I was able to proceed. The project began in 1970 with the approval of the Inagi district, and in 1988 the opening of the Koyodai district, in 1995 the Nagamine district, and in 1999 the Wakabadai district was opened.
The project was completed in 2006, and we are currently working with UR Urban Renaissance Agency to systematically dispose of the remaining unused land within the area.

Town development of Koyodai

The varied topography of the Tama Hills gave birth to this beautiful city. Koyodai was the first town in the Tama New Town Inagi area to open its doors. As a result, the cityscape, the trees that decorate the streets, and the greenery of the hedges all give off a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
What characterizes this city is the urban landscape created from its hilly topography. With the hills in the background, the heights and heights follow the flow of the terrain. During ~ ( kiss )・The beauty of the low-rise residential complex has been proven by winning the ``Urban Landscape Award'' in 1995.

Town planning in Nagamine

Nagamine was born in the center of the Tama New Town Inagi area with the basic theme of "creating a living space in greenery." In this city, which stretches out amidst natural space and has Inagi Central Park within its area, daily life itself feels like a resort. Surrounded by abundant nature and abundant sunlight, people enjoy sports, touch the soil and greenery, and enjoy a leisurely life. Nagamine, where you can always feel an ecological and green space, can truly be called a wellness (lively and healthy) town that is kind to people.

Community development in Wakabadai

Wakabadai is the newest town in Fine Hill Inagi, which opened in the spring of 1999. Said to be the last development in front of the station in Tama New Town, when you look from the front of the station, you can see a richly expressive town with a gentle south slope in the background.
The station square traffic plaza is the landmark of Wakabadai and the gateway to the city. Within the transportation plaza, there are stops for route buses and taxis that connect the station and residential areas. In addition, Wakabadai Station and the station square are connected by escalators and elevators, and the plan is to allow people of all generations to use the station without any inconvenience.
