In July 2003, the city established the ``Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Action Plan'' and its countermeasures as a business operator in Inagi City, as well as an administrative entity. Ten years have passed since its formulation, and various domestic and international movements, including the enactment of laws, can be seen. Amid heightened awareness of the dangers facing the global environment and major changes in the environment surrounding society, the government issued the "2050 Carbon Neutral Declaration" in 2020, and efforts toward a decarbonized society are rapidly taking place. is underway.
