Overview

In Inagi City, due to population growth and increased administrative demands, many buildings and infrastructure (roads, bridges, sewerage, etc.) (hereinafter referred to as "Public Facilities, etc.") have been developed. Many existing public facilities, etc. are aging. Although renovations and updates have been carried out in the past, it is anticipated that a wave of renovations and updates will come all at once in the future, requiring significant project costs in a challenging financial situation.
Preventing damage due to aging is an important issue for ensuring safe citizen life, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has requested that local governments give special consideration to the formulation of the "Comprehensive Management Plan for Public Facilities, etc."
In Inagi City, various plans regarding facilities and infrastructure have been developed, and facility management has been implemented, along with the maintenance of fixed asset ledgers. In response to the current situation and requests mentioned above, an internal study group for the formulation of the Comprehensive Management Plan for Public Facilities, etc. was established, and after a request for public comments from citizens, the "Comprehensive Management Plan for Public Facilities, etc. of Inagi City" was formulated in September 2015.

Revision of the Plan

Based on the fact that a certain period has passed since the formulation of the plan, the national infrastructure longevity plan has been reviewed, and the individual facility plans mentioned later have been formulated, the plan has been revised, and the revision was made in March 2022.
