Q&A overview

Contents of question Answer
We would like to hear about the city's thinking and policies regarding urban development such as the land readjustment project being carried out in the Higashi-Naganuma district, and to exchange opinions. The city has positioned the area connecting Inagi-Naganuma Station and Inagi Station as the central area, and is working to guide various urban functions around Inagi-Naganuma Station, including commercial and business functions, as well as supporting the interaction and daily life of citizens.
As it is a rapid stop on the Nambu Line and the starting station for the Kawasaki area, we are aiming to develop it as the core of the city's central area.
Additionally, since the Inagi City Tourism Association has been established, efforts will be made to create interaction and bustle among citizens, including a park that will be developed this year on the south side of the station, centering on Pair Terrace.
Furthermore, regarding the Pearly Road shopping district, we will seize the relocation due to the land readjustment project as an opportunity and work with everyone in the shopping district to revitalize the shopping district with vitality.
When will the land readjustment around Inagi-Naganuma Station be completed? The planned business year for land readjustment is from 1993 to 2040.
The city is currently formulating the next long-term comprehensive plan, with a planning period starting in 2020, and as part of this review, it will consider how far this rezoning project can go.
Will Gourmet City in front of the station be relocated? Gourmet City is currently operating as a tenant.
There is a possibility that the landowner will build a store on the alternative site and move in as a tenant in the future, but we have not yet entered into discussions and we are not aware of his intentions.
Will Pearly Road Shopping District be relocated? There are plans to widen the road to 9 meters, and buildings on the east side will be relocated. We are currently in the stage of discussions with landowners.
Regarding the southern road entrance to Inagi-Naganuma Station, when will it open? The road that enters the station from Kawasaki Kaido will be built only after the south side is completed.
The decision to open the road to traffic will be made by the police, but we would like to request that it be opened as soon as possible.
People arriving by car to pick up and drop off at the station end up on the narrow roads in the area. I think the plan was to construct the north side as a rotary.
Regarding the road next to Pear Terrace, part of the urban planning road will be completed in the spring of 2019, and then it will be open to traffic and will be able to be used by shuttle vehicles.
Additionally, we recently created a space on the north side of the station where cars can turn around, so for the time being we will see how things go with the current measures.
Will there be no more living classes? The city is not aware of this as it is a JR project. I have heard that no specific policy has been decided.
Will we no longer be able to hold events in the square in front of Pair Terrace? In the future, we would like to not only hold events in the park, but also in the square in front of the Pair Terrace.
Regarding the park, we plan to develop it as a highly convenient park that will be used not only during normal times but also during disasters, taking into account the opinions of the neighborhood association.
What will happen to the disaster prevention measures at the park in front of the station? The park in front of the station is scheduled to be completed within the fiscal year, and manhole toilets will be installed with disaster prevention in mind.
We have also provided lighting for disaster evacuation to ensure that users can use the facility with peace of mind.
I am worried about the district division of the neighborhood association.
The rezoning of the Minamiyama area is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2025, and Proud Mansion has been asked to join the Higashi-Naganuma Neighborhood Association, but what will happen to new residents in the future?
For example, the address of Ober Mansion is Hyakumura, so will it become a Hyakumura Neighborhood Association?
The Minamiyama district is a newly developed town, and the neighborhood association's zoning policy has not yet been determined. The boundaries of multiple districts are complicated and the characters are not organized.
I think the current plan is to divide the boundaries with thick roads and assign lot numbers.
In this regard, the city has set up a department in charge of organizing addresses and has just begun efforts. In the future, we plan to establish a city-wide basic policy regarding address sorting and implement it over time while gaining the understanding of local residents.
Could you please fix the stone monument at Seiyu Shrine? Since each case is individual, please consult with the person in charge of the city (Lifelong Learning Division).
Regarding the weeds on the sidewalk, they have grown too much and cannot be removed.
I would like the city to call for cooperation so that local residents can work together to respond.
In some ways, the city is unable to handle all of the measures to deal with street trees and weeds in the city.
Since it is not possible to cover everything with public funds, we would like to ask each individual to help themselves when it comes to weeds in front of their homes.
The city conducts an environmental beautification campaign every year with the participation of residents, but due to the hot summer season and the risk of heat stroke, the city is currently considering reconsidering the timing of the campaign. There is.
How about illuminating the Misawa River? The illuminations in various parts of the city are managed by local residents who form executive committees. The executive committee collects donations from local businesses, etc., and the event is run without tax. Furthermore, as civil servants, we are prohibited from soliciting donations, so this is a private-sector initiative.
Please note that we can inform you of operating methods in other regions, so please contact the relevant department.
I can't hear the disaster prevention administrative radio. We have received feedback for some time that it is difficult to hear broadcasts from outdoor speakers due to topography and the sound echoing from the rows of apartment buildings.
So far, we have increased the number of locations where speakers are installed and adjusted their orientation and volume, but it is difficult to make any further improvements.
In response to this, the content distributed via administrative radio is provided in text form from an email distribution service to your mobile phone, so please be sure to register with the city's email distribution service.
