Inagi City Social Contribution Activities Promotion Subsidy System

System overview

Based on the results of the citizen activity point system, this subsidy will be provided to organizations that are making social contributions and receiving volunteer activities in Inagi City to start new businesses and step up their business (business expansion). By subsidizing a portion of the expenses, we aim to strengthen the foundation of the organization, encourage citizen participation in volunteer activities, and promote social contribution activities.

This system provides subsidies up to a maximum of 50,000 yen to organizations that have their base of operations and contact points within Inagi City and are continuously engaged in social contribution activities.

Target organizations

Organizations eligible for subsidies are those that meet all of the following conditions.

  1. Specified non-profit activities stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Specified Non-profit Activities Promotion Act (Act No. 7 of 1998) (non-profit activities aimed at contributing to the promotion of unspecified and large-scale interests , promotion of health, medical care, and welfare, social education, promotion of town development, promotion of tourism, academics, culture, art, and sports, conservation of the environment, healthy development of children, development of an information society, promotion of science and technology, and economy. (This refers to activities aimed at revitalizing activities, disaster relief activities, community safety activities, etc.) on an ongoing basis.
  2. The activities of the group must be in accordance with the "Guidelines for Collaborative Town Development" established by Inagi City.
  3. Have an activity base and contact point in Inagi City, and conduct activities within Inagi City.
  4. The organization must not have political, religious, or profit-making purposes.
  5. In a group of 5 or more people, more than half of the members must be Inagi citizens.

Eligible businesses

Businesses eligible for subsidies are those that meet all of the following conditions. However, subsidies can only be awarded for the same project up to two times in a row.

  1. The project must be a new project or a current project that is based on new ideas to solve regional issues.
  2. The project to be implemented must contribute to improving the lives of citizens.
  3. The project must promote the discovery of volunteers in carrying out the project.
  4. The project must be completed within the fiscal year in which the subsidy is applied for.
  5. The project must continue to be implemented even after the subsidy is granted.
  6. The project must not receive any subsidies other than this subsidy from Inagi City.

Steps leading up to grant disbursement

The general process for granting subsidies is as follows. The specific timing of recruitment will be announced on the city website, public relations, etc.

  • Recruitment period: April to June
  • Approximately July Screening and issuance decision (During the screening, you may be asked to explain the details of your project, etc.)
  • Performance report around March

About applying for subsidies

This subsidy is a project entrusted to the Inagi City Community Development Plaza's designated manager, the NPO Inagi Citizens' Activities Support Center. Applications are reviewed by the Inagi City Social Contribution Activities Promotion Subsidy Review Committee, which is made up of citizens' groups, academics, and other experts.
