About support for neighborhood association activities
Update date: April 1, 2024
The city has established various systems to support community association activities. For details, please contact each business department.
Subsidy for administrative expenses related to neighborhood association
The city requests various administrative tasks from neighborhood associations, such as posting notices and circulating bulletins. To subsidize these tasks, each neighborhood association is paid an amount equal to 130 yen multiplied by the number of households in the neighborhood association area as of April 1st on the Basic Resident Register. In addition, some neighborhood associations are paid 80,000 yen as a subsidy for the fire brigade.
When making the payments, we will inform each neighborhood association of the amount to be paid around May or June each year and ask them to submit an invoice, so please respond when you receive the notice.

(For items exceeding each, the subsidy amount will be up to the maximum construction cost.)
Advance application is required to utilize subsidized projects, but for budget purposes, we make inquiries to each neighborhood association in early July of each year regarding requests for construction cost subsidies for the following year. Please respond if you have any requests.

Advance application is required for the use of subsidy projects, but for budget purposes, we make inquiries to each neighborhood association in early July of each year regarding requests for subsidy for security camera installation costs for the following fiscal year. So, if you have any requests, please respond.
