Please use resource garbage group collection subsidy system
Updated: April 1, 2021
Local groups such as residents' associations and children's associations voluntarily collect recyclables such as used paper separately from the city's resource collection days and perform "recyclable waste group collection" in which they are handed over to resource collectors. Group collection organizations registered with the city receive subsidies according to the amount collected. The activity revenue will be returned to the area, so please take advantage of it.
Subsidized items/subsidized amounts
¥9/kg (newspaper, magazines, cardboard, milk cartons, old cloth, steel cans, bottles, other valuables), ¥6/kg/liter (aluminum cans, waste cooking oil), depending on the amount of recyclables collected
How to start group collection
1. create a collection group
Please create a non-profit organization, such as a neighborhood association, management association, or children's association, where 20 or more households can participate in activities at least once a year, and choose a representative.
2. Choose a collection item
Please select the items to be collected from among the items eligible for the subsidy.
3. Choose a collector
We will introduce resource recovery companies registered with the city, so please contact the Garbage and Recycling Section of the Living Environment Division.
Four. Decide how to put out resources
After consulting within your organization and with the collection agency, decide when, where, and how to dispose of the resources. For group collection and city resource collection, please ensure that the collection dates do not overlap, and separate collection locations as much as possible.
Five. Submission of group registration application to the city
You can download it from below. Submit to the Life Environment Division Garbage and Recycling Section.
