Subsidies for projects to develop underlying strengths in the Tokyo metropolitan area

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides subsidies to support efforts (events, activities, etc.) to solve local issues sponsored by neighborhood associations and residents' associations, which are responsible for local activities. For details, please check the link below.

Target group

Neighborhood associations/self-governing associations located in Tokyo

Target business

It is an initiative (events, activities, etc.) sponsored by the neighborhood association/neighborhood association of the applicant organization to solve local issues through the participation and use of many local residents. Projects to be implemented and completed by March 31st
Note: Projects that are judged not to be in line with the purpose of the grant may be ineligible.

Efforts leading to the promotion of specific measures that BS Tokyo should urgently work on  
  (1) Digital utilization support
  • Distribution of neighborhood events using online tools
  • Seminar on how to use digital devices such as smartphones and tablets
C Efforts to solve local issues jointly implemented by multiple single neighborhood associations and residents' associations
  • Evacuation center management training conducted jointly by two towns
  • 5 Neighborhood Association Athletic Meet
D Efforts to solve local issues by single town associations/resident associations in collaboration with other regional organizations (excluding town associations/resident associations and local governments)
  • Regional exchange event in collaboration with the shopping district
  • Evacuation drills in cooperation with welfare facilities for the elderly
  • Work experience project in collaboration with local NPO

Eligible limit

  •  Eligible Projects A and B: 200,000 yen for single neighborhood associations and residents' associations, 1 million yen for district union neighborhood associations
  •  Eligible project C: Single town council/residential association (joint) 500,000 yen
  •  Eligible Project D: Single neighborhood association/residential association (collaboration) 300,000 yen
