About the off-street parking lot notification system

1 Parking lot subject to notification
Parking lots that meet both of the following two requirements are subject to notification.
(1) Parking lot for general public use <br id="3"/> Refers to a parking lot that can be used by an unspecified number of people and for which usage fees are collected. This includes pay-by-the-hour parking lots and paid parking lots attached to commercial facilities and hospitals used by an unspecified number of people.
(2) Parking lots with a total parking area of 500 square meters or more for general public use <br id="7"/>Total area of parking spaces not included) applies to parking lots of 500 square meters or more.
2 Where to report and flow of paperwork
If the parking lot subject to notification is set up in Inagi City, the notification should be made to the Inagi City Management Division.
3 About the structure and equipment of the off-street parking lot
The location of entrances and exits of off-street parking lots, the structure and equipment such as the width of roads must conform to the standards stipulated in Article 11 of the Parking Lot Law.

Notification based on the Barrier-free New Law
The Law Concerning the Promotion of Facilitation of Mobility for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities (New Barrier-Free Law) was enacted on December 20, 2006. Conformity with established standards is obligatory (Article 11 of the Act), and notification is required (Article 12 of the Act) if the following conditions are met.
1 Target specific off-street parking lot
Of the notified parking lots (off-street parking lots with an area of 500 square meters or more for the part used for parking and for which parking fees are collected), parking lots as ancillaries to roads, park facilities Parking lots and parking lots that are not attached to buildings.
(Note) A lift-type parking lot without a roof is not a structure.
2 Standards for structures and facilities (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Ordinance No. 112)
(1) At least one facility for wheelchair users must be provided. (Excluding motorcycle parking lots)
・Width must be 3.5 meters or more ・Display parking facilities for wheelchair users
(2) One or more of the routes from wheelchair-accessible facilities to roads, parks, squares, and other vacant lots must be routes that can be used smoothly by the elderly and people with disabilities.
3 Notification (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Ordinance No. 110)
Two copies of each of the following documents are required.
When we perform notification based on Parking Law at the same time, we can report by attaching the following documents to notification based on Parking Law.
・Documents to be attached to off-street parking lot installation (change) notification ・Floor plan showing parking facilities for wheelchair users, routes for smooth movement, and other major facilities (1/200 or more)
When only reporting based on the barrier-free new law is newly done・Specified off-street parking lot installation (change) notification form ・Topographic map (1/10,000 or more) showing the position of the specific off-street parking lot
・Floor plan of specific off-street parking area (1/200 or more)
・Floor plan (1/200 or more) showing parking facilities for wheelchair users, routes for smooth movement, and other major facilities
