About the Regional Public Transport Council

This meeting was established as a forum to discuss matters necessary for the realization of transportation services that reflect local conditions, following the enforcement of the law amending part of the Road Transport Act, which took effect on October 1, 2006.

About the Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Council

In order to secure necessary transportation such as buses for the residents' daily lives and to improve the convenience of public transportation, the city has established the Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Council based on the Road Transport Act, and will consider revisions aimed at enhancing the convenience of bus public transportation.

About the Committee Members

The members of the transportation conference consist of representatives from each district, experts with academic experience, business operators related to passenger transport, and staff from relevant administrative agencies.

In addition, to deepen discussions at the meetings, we repeatedly hold the "Neighborhood Association Representatives Discussion Group" composed of 10 representatives from each Neighborhood Association, the "Joint Discussion Group of Citizen Representatives" consisting of 13 members including representatives from three civic organizations and Neighborhood Association representatives, and the "Bus Operators Discussion Group" composed of bus operators, working together with citizens and business operators to advance our discussions.
