Inagi City Junior Firefighting Club

Organization Overview

The Inagi City Youth Fire Brigade was established in April 1982 in the Sakahama area, and the Oshitate area Youth Fire Brigade was established in December 1983.
It is composed mainly of boys and girls from elementary and junior high schools in the city, and they acquire knowledge and skills related to fire prevention and disaster prevention from a young age. Activities include fire prevention and disaster prevention training, discipline training, creating fire prevention posters, distributing fire prevention flyers, and conducting crime prevention patrols.

Oshitate Sakahama District Youth Firefighting Club Joint Disaster Prevention Experience Learning [Facility Tour]

The Oshitate-Sakahama District Youth Firefighting Club conducts facility visits as part of its annual plan.
At facilities where firefighting experiences can be had, members undergo training such as smoke experience, initial firefighting, and earthquake experience, learning the importance of fire prevention and disaster awareness, as well as the significance of teamwork, while acquiring the necessary knowledge for fire prevention as youth firefighting club members.

Joint Experience Learning of the Youth Firefighting Club

In the Sakahama and Oshitate District Youth Firefighting Club joint experiential learning, participants can deepen their knowledge of fire prevention and disaster prevention by learning about ladder truck rides, first aid training, discipline training, and rope tying training.
