Recruitment for Firefighting Support Volunteers

1 Fire Support Volunteer

In response to large-scale natural disasters that occur within Inagi City, fire department personnel and volunteers will work together to promptly engage in disaster response activities, providing support to mitigate damage and prevent its expansion.

2 Activities

1. In the event of a disaster, we will work in coordination with firefighters and fire brigade members to carry out the following activities.
   • Emergency First Aid Activities
   • Support for Firefighting Activities
   • Support for Rescue Activities
   • Disaster Information Collection Activities
   • Support for emergency measures such as the establishment and operation of evacuation shelters
   • Other Support Activities
2. Every year, we participate in rescue and relief training, life-saving courses, fire department ceremonies, and local disaster prevention training.

3 Compensation System for Disaster Activities

We will enroll in insurance at public expense for injuries sustained during training or firefighting activities.

4 Loaned Items and Benefits

Loaned items: Firefighting support volunteer registration certificate, armband, helmet

Benefits: Jumper, Hat, Whistle

5 Registration Requirements

In principle, those who are 16 years or older and meet one of the following requirements, residing, commuting, or studying in Inagi City

1. Those who are willing to support fire and disaster prevention activities
2. Persons with knowledge of first aid
3. Those who have experience as a firefighter or a member of a youth firefighting club in the past
4. Individuals with the qualifications and skills necessary to support recovery activities after the earthquake
