Gas Meter Restoration Method

In the event of an earthquake of magnitude 5 or higher, safety devices will activate, and the microcomputer meter (gas meter) will shut off the gas supply, making it impossible to use gas.
The method for restoring service varies depending on the type of gas meter.

Tokyo Gas Network Restoration My Map

The "Restoration My Map" operates when a large-scale earthquake occurs that results in a supply stoppage, displaying the progress of restoration on a map categorized into six sections: "Supply Stopped," "Capping Work in Progress," "Gas Pipe Inspection in Progress," "Gas Pipe Repair in Progress," "Opening Work in Progress," and "Restoration Completed." The map can be zoomed in to the unit level, and address searches are possible, allowing for the confirmation of gas supply stoppage status and restoration progress for individual homes.
For more details, please access the Tokyo Gas Network website.
