We have published a web version of the Inagi Hazard Map, which allows you to view information necessary for disaster prevention overlaid on a map.
In the web version of the Inagi Hazard Map, you can view areas at risk of landslides, flood-prone areas of rivers, designated evacuation shelters, and more from your computer or smartphone.

You can view the Inagi Hazard Map (Earthquake, Wind and Flood Disasters, Landslide Disasters).

[Hazard Map (for Earthquake)]

  • This includes the locations of designated evacuation shelters (city-run Elementary and Junior High Schools, etc.), designated emergency evacuation sites, and other disaster prevention facilities such as storage warehouses and water supply points where citizens can evacuate. It also lists secondary evacuation shelters (welfare evacuation shelters) for those who require welfare considerations.
  • In addition, we have published a liquefaction prediction map indicating areas within the city where liquefaction is expected, as well as a seismic intensity distribution map for the Tama City direct earthquake, which is assumed to have a significant impact on the city.

Liquefaction Prediction Map

  • The liquefaction prediction map shows areas within the city where liquefaction is expected to be possible.
The areas where the degree of liquefaction is determined in this prediction map are drawn based on the distribution of boring data and do not indicate clear boundaries.
In addition, most places in plateaus and hilly areas are classified as "areas with low potential for liquefaction," but please be aware that land created by large-scale embankment work may have a potential for liquefaction depending on the embankment materials used.

[Seismic Intensity Distribution Map]

  • This is a distribution map of seismic intensity due to the Tama Fault Earthquake, which is expected to have a significant impact on the city, among the four assumed earthquakes (Tokyo Bay North Earthquake, Tama Fault Earthquake, Genroku-type Kanto Earthquake, Tachikawa Fault Zone Earthquake) presented in the "Report on Damage Estimates for Tokyo due to the Capital Region Directly Beneath Earthquake, etc. (Tokyo Disaster Prevention Council)" published by Tokyo Metropolitan Government in April 2012.

[Hazard Map (For Wind and Water Disasters, Landslide Disasters)]

  • Flood inundation area map of the Tamagawa River, expected inundation area maps for the Misawa River basin and the Tsurumi River basin, and landslide hazard maps are published.
  • The flood prediction (forecast) area map shows the results of simulations indicating the areas that would be flooded and the expected depth of flooding in the event of heavy rainfall in the respective river basins.
  • The duration of flooding indicates the time from when the water level reaches 0.5m or more due to flooding, until the water recedes to below 0.5m.
  • The landslide hazard map shows the landslide warning areas, special landslide warning areas, and designated evacuation shelters during disasters on the map.
