Overview

The city is promoting the establishment of "Child 110" houses as places where children can seek help in case of emergencies during their commute to and from school.

We are looking for individuals who can become a "Child 110" house where children can rush in and take refuge in case of an emergency.
We would like to hang a sign that serves as a landmark at the "Child 110" house, so that children can feel safe asking for help. By hanging such a sign at the entrance, we believe it can also serve as a crime prevention measure.
We ask for your understanding of these intentions and request the establishment of a "Child 110" house as described below.

Installed households, etc.

Households where someone is likely to be at home on a daily basis.
Households (such as shops) that can temporarily protect children and students when they seek help and can call the police at 110.

Installation Period

As long as there are no issues at home, for many years

Installation Location

  • Gates facing roads or pathways, or entrances visible from the road.
  • Near the entrance of shops, etc.
  • Near the entrances of each household in apartment complexes and condominiums (regardless of the floor)

Responsibility Issues

If a temporarily protected child or student is injured, we will not hold the families of the "Child 110" houses responsible at all.
We are simply asking for protection as a temporary shelter.

Application Destination

After filling out the consent form (PDF file below), please submit it to the General Affairs and Contracts Division.

Personal Information

The handling of the personal information you registered will be used only for the "Child 110" project and will not be used for any other purposes.
In addition, if necessary for this project, we will provide information to relevant parties (PTA, Elementary and Junior High Schools, Youth Development District Committees, etc.).
