It is important for each person living in the community to work towards creating a community where everyone can live safely and comfortably in their familiar area by preventing abuse and helping each other.
The burden on families caring for Older Adults is more challenging than one can imagine. To prevent abuse, it is essential not to let caregivers handle everything alone; community members should offer warm words and support to families caring for Older Adults or those living alone, ensuring they are not isolated from the community.

Inagi City has created a leaflet to raise awareness about elder abuse among many people and to prevent abuse in the community.
Elder abuse is a problem that can occur close to home.
