Women only once every 5 years "Osteoporosis prevention checkup"

Bone strength (strength) is determined by bone density (bone mass) and bone quality. When the strength (strength) of the bone decreases, it becomes easier to fracture, and this condition is called osteoporosis.
Factors that reduce bone strength (strength) include “decrease in female hormone (estrogen),” “aging,” and “lifestyle disorder (unreasonable diet, unbalanced diet, lack of exercise).”
Such will be considered. Therefore, it is more likely to occur with age, and in particular, the incidence of females is about three times higher than that of males.

Female city residents who live in the city and turn 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, or 70 years old during fiscal year 2024 (April 2, 2024 to April 1, 2025) direction ( shoulder )

  2. Currently observing the progress of osteoporosis

Inspection content

  • Bone mass measurement (calcaneal ultrasound measurement)
  • How to read medical examination results by public health nurses and registered dietitians, prevention of osteoporosis (lecture)
  • Nutrition consultation (those deemed necessary based on test results)

Apply to the Inagi City Health Center using one of the methods (1), (2), (3), or (4).

(1) Postcard or (2) Envelope Please write "Osteoporosis Prevention Screening Request" in the subject line, your name (in hiragana), date of birth, address, and telephone number, and mail it to Inagi City Health Center.

(4) Fill out the designated form at the Inagi City Health Center. Opening hours: Weekdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and from December 29th to January 3rd)
