Request to those undergoing health checkups

If any of the following items apply to you, you may be refused the medical examination. If you are not feeling well, please consult your family doctor as soon as possible.

Before consultation

  • Fever (body temperature higher than normal, or 37.5℃)
  • A family member living with you is unwell
  • If you have had cold symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, feeling tired, sore throat, runny nose, stuffy nose, headache, joint/muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, taste disorder, or smell disorder within 7 days before your appointment.
  • Those who are in close contact with the new coronavirus infection and are within the waiting period indicated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
  • Those who have traveled abroad and are within the waiting period specified by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare

Note: If the above symptoms persist, or if there are any changes in the symptoms of your underlying disease, please consult a medical institution.
Note: Elderly people, people with underlying illnesses such as diabetes, heart failure, or respiratory diseases, people undergoing dialysis, and people taking immunosuppressants or anticancer drugs are at risk of contracting the new coronavirus infection. There are reports that symptoms tend to worsen. If you are concerned about your physical condition, please consider seeing a doctor next year.

When visiting a doctor

  • Please wear a mask.
  • During the medical checkup, you will be reminded regularly. If the outside temperature is low, please bring something to wear, such as a cardigan.
  • In order to prevent overcrowding and close contact, please adhere to reception times and help shorten your medical examination time.
  • Please cooperate in measuring your body temperature.
  • In addition, please follow the instructions of each medical institution when visiting the hospital.
