Requests to those undergoing health checkups

If any of the following items apply to you, you may be refused a health checkup. If you are not feeling well, consult your family doctor as soon as possible.

Before medical examination

  • Fever (body temperature higher than normal, or body temperature 37.5°C as a guideline)
  • A family member living with you is unwell
  • Cold symptoms such as cough, dyspnea, dullness, sore throat, runny nose, stuffy nose, headache, joint/muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, taste disorder, olfactory disorder, etc. within 7 days before the visit
  • Those who are in close contact with the new coronavirus infection and are within the waiting period indicated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare
  • Those who have traveled to foreign countries and are within the waiting period indicated by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare

Note: If the above symptoms continue, or if there are changes in the symptoms of an underlying disease (pre-existing disease), please consult a medical institution.
Note: The elderly, those with underlying diseases such as diabetes, heart failure, and respiratory disease, those undergoing dialysis, those using immunosuppressants and anticancer drugs, etc. are likely to be infected with the new coronavirus infection. There are reports that the symptoms tend to get worse. If you have any concerns about your physical condition, please consider having a medical examination next year.

When to see a doctor

  • Please wear a mask
  • You will be reminded periodically during the checkup. In the season when the outside temperature is low, please prepare something to put on, such as a cardigan.
  • In order to prevent crowding and close contact, please cooperate with shortening the medical examination time by following the reception hours.
  • Please cooperate with body temperature measurement
  • In addition, please follow the instructions of each medical institution when visiting a medical institution.
