The Inagi Pair Park has been established in front of Inagi-Naganuma Station!

On March 24, 2019 (Sunday), we celebrated the completion of a new park in front of Inagi-Naganuma Station by holding the "Inagi-Naganuma Station Front Park Opening Ceremony."
The name of the new park is "Inagi Pair Park."

Part 1 Ceremony

At the ceremony, in addition to the unveiling of the park nameplate designed by Mr. Kunio Okawara, a mechanic designer residing in Inagi City, and the "Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower" donated by the International Soroptimist Inagi, events were held by local community members, celebrating the completion of the park with approximately 600 attendees.

We presented a letter of appreciation and a commemorative gift to the International Soroptimist Inagi for their donation of the 'Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower.'

We presented a letter of appreciation to Nanshin Development Co., Ltd. for their construction work on the Inagi Pair Park.

At the unveiling ceremony, the "Park Name Sign" and "Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower" were presented.
With this donation, the "Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower" has been installed in front of all stations along the JR Nambu Line in Inagi City (Yanokuchi Station, Inagi-Naganuma Station, Minami-Tama Station).

Part 2: Events by Local Residents

In the second part, local residents held events including traditional Japanese drumming by Inagi Taiko, folk music by the Aoi Bayashi Preservation Society, kids' dance by Dance Team KQJ, and a performance of the Tokyo Olympic Ondo-2020 by the Yanokuchi Ondo Preservation Society, Akizakura Society, and Omaru Women's Association, which energized the venue.
