Recycling of household pruned branches

Updated: June 28, 2024

In order to promote the recycling of pruned branches , the city is working to reduce waste by turning them into chips using a car-mounted crusher and using them as weed deterrent in parks.
When using the chipping business, please follow the procedures below and contact the Living Environment Division in advance to confirm the work venue before bringing your chips in.

How to Use

1. Please contact the Living Environment Division by Friday morning of the week before the work day to confirm the work venue according to the schedule below.
(At that time, please let us know your address, name, phone number, and the type and approximate amount of pruned branches.)
2. Please be sure to remove the leaves between Saturday and Monday before bringing them to the work site yourself.
Note: No work will be done if there is no application.
Note: Grass etc. from businesses or households cannot be brought in.
