Starting from April 1, 2020! New recycling business for “PET bottles”

Updated: October 25, 2024

A "bottle-to-bottle" plastic bottle recycling project with the Suntory Group will begin on April 1, 2020.
By turning the PET bottles produced by each household into PET bottles, the reuse rate is approximately 100%, making it possible to achieve ``local production for local consumption'' and ``visualization'' of recycling of PET bottles.

Inagi City and Suntory Group have concluded an agreement regarding the "bottle to bottle" recycling business.

Request from the city

To recycle plastic bottles, it is essential to collect clean plastic bottles. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in how to properly dispose of plastic bottles.

How to put out plastic bottles

1 Empty and rinse.

2 Remove the cap and label and dispose of them as "plastic waste."

3 Crush it and put it out.

It's smaller, easier to transport, and less likely to blow away in the wind.
