Cultural assets of Inagi City

People started living in our hometown Inagi about 20,000 years ago.
During the Paleolithic era, the stone tools used by the people of that time were discovered on the hills of Sakahama and Hirao.
The discovered stone tools tell us a part of the life of people in the Paleolithic period, which was colder and harsher than today.
A page of the history of the Paleolithic era has been carved in our hometown Inagi.
Since then, time has passed, and the Jomon period, the Yayoi period, the Kofun period, and the long history of people have continued to the present day.
