Armored Trooper Votoms "Scopedog" life-size monument has been installed

On March 15, 2020, a life-size monument of “Scope Dog” was installed at Inagi Pair Park.
Scope Dog is a humanoid mobile weapon that appears in the anime "Armored Trooper Votoms" designed by Kunio Okawara, a mechanic designer living in Inagi City.

In addition, in Inagi City, you can see monuments designed by Kunio Okawara in various places.

Armored Trooper Votoms

A work that is said to be the pinnacle of real robot animation pioneered by "Mobile Suit Gundam"

"Armored Trooper Votoms" televised from 1983 to 1984. In addition to the battle depiction of mechanics with a strong military flavor, the characters unfold a rich human drama.
After the end of the TV series, original video animations, movies, novels, etc. have been announced one after another.

The main weapon that appears in Armored Trooper Votoms.
The main character, Kiriko Cuby, used it the most.

The three lenses on the head feature standard zoom, precision aiming, and wide-angle, and visual information is transmitted to the pilot through the goggles.

An unveiling ceremony was held

On March 15, 2020, the unveiling and presentation was held at Inagi Pair Park.
Mr. Ryosuke Takahashi, the director of "Armored Trooper Votoms", and Mr. Kunio Okawara, the mechanical designer, came to the unveiling ceremony, and the fans who gathered were excited.
