What is the resident record code? How do I change it?
Update date: August 30, 2013
The resident record code is an 11-digit number that is assigned to every person recorded in the Basic Resident Register for nationwide identification in the Basic Resident Register Network System.
Since the number is automatically assigned, you cannot choose the number, but if you wish to change it, you can change it by notification. For more information, please refer to the "Basic Resident Register Network System/Resident Record Code" page .
