Are there any etiquette rules for using an ambulance?

Updated: August 31, 2015

Due to the increased use of ambulances, there is often a shortage of ambulances. In some cases, it is against manners to use an ambulance for reasons such as ``If you go by ambulance, the hospital will give you priority,'' or ``The ambulance is faster and more convenient.'' If your symptoms are mild, or if you can still go to the hospital on your own, please visit a nearby hospital or your family hospital as soon as possible.
Please cooperate with the use of ambulances so that urgent patients can be transported to the hospital as soon as possible.
