3rd Wednesday in July

Citywide crime prevention patrol

Aiming to ensure the safety and security of children and the community, before summer vacation, the Inagi City Safety and Security Community Development Promotion Council plays a central role in conducting crime prevention patrols throughout the city with the cooperation of crime prevention activity volunteer groups.

Mid-July

Public swimming pool open

With a toddler pool, a lazy river, a slider pool, and a 25-meter pool, everyone from small children to adults can enjoy the water.

Sunday in late July

environmental beautification citizen movement

The environmental beautification citizen campaign is a city-wide cleanup that is carried out mainly by the promotion headquarters set up by the chairman of the self-governing community and the representative of the management association in each district. It started in 1975 to clean up the town where we live with our own hands.

Inagi Charter Promotion Day in Yomiuri Land

The Inagi Citizens' Charter Promotion Council conducts various projects under the theme of "Let's spread the charter to develop a city of the heart." As one of them, Yomiuri Land will be free for one day as "Inagi Citizen's Charter Promotion Day" so that children can enjoy the summer vacation and get to know the citizen's charter.

Inagi Festival

The Inagi Festival is a Japan-US exchange event held every summer. On the day of the event, there will be band performances and refreshment stands.

August 7

Myoken-son ( ) The Hebi-yori Ceremony (Tokyo designated cultural property)

This event is held every year on August 7th at Myokenson (Myokenji Temple) in prayer for good health.
Reaped Grass ( ) They create a giant snake that is 100 to 150 meters long, and it is believed that touching this snake will ward off misfortune and illness.

Anazawa ( ) Tenjin Shrine Festival

The nationally designated important intangible folk cultural property "Edo Village Kagura ( ) " and the "Anazawa Tenjin Shrine Lion Dance," a cultural property designated by Inagi City, will be dedicated.

Citizen swimming tournament

Competitions will be held in five divisions: elementary school students, junior high school students, 35 and over, 45 and over, and open.
