Illuminations will be lit in each area of the city. Please take a look.

Year-end city crime prevention patrol

At the end of the year, when various crimes occur frequently, the Inagi City Safety and Security Community Development Promotion Council plays a central role, and with the cooperation of crime prevention activity volunteer groups, etc., we carry out simultaneous crime prevention patrols throughout the city as a special year-end patrol. .

Second Sunday in January

New Year's parade of firefighters

Aiming to protect the lives, bodies and properties of citizens and create a bright city free from disasters, the fire department and 8 sub-groups will march and perform simultaneous water discharges.

Coming-of-Age Day in January

Every year, an executive committee of new adults plans and manages the coming-of-age ceremony. All adults are welcome to participate.

It is held in various districts of the city with wishes for good health in the flames of New Year's decorations. Every year in the Sakahama area (pictured), a hut with a height of 15 meters is built with a framework of 120 bamboos. So many people visit the venue that the 650 cocoon dumplings held up to the flames are not enough.

Late January

Citizen road race event

Parents and children, elementary school students, and junior high school students will be held on a special course in Central Park. More than 1,000 participants have completed the race (participants are recruited from November to December of the previous year).
The Inagi Green Road Race (5km and 10km) for the general public to be held on the same day will be held by the Tokyo Verdy Green Road Race Executive Committee.

International Understanding Program Let's communicate Our global family We are one

People from various countries gather to learn about world cultures and lifestyles through speech presentations, social gatherings, and meals, and deepen friendships (participants will be recruited in December of the previous year).

Woman and man forum Inagi

This forum is planned and operated by the Citizens Executive Committee, where lectures are given on themes such as women's issues and men's and women's ways of life, and many messages are sent to citizens.
