Inagi Annual Events Spring March to May

We will introduce the main events from March to May.

Famous place for cherry blossoms

From mid-March to early April, you can view cherry blossoms at various locations in the city. The main attractions include the Misawa River side road, Tamagawa Cycling Road, Daimaru Shinsui Park, Todo One Main Road, and around the general grounds.
At the same time, pears, a specialty of Inagi, bloom with white flowers.

Inagi Peace Concert

Inagi City declared itself a city of peace on March 7, 1991, and holds the Inagi Peace Concert every year as an opportunity to confirm the importance and preciousness of peace.

Cherry blossom and pear blossom festival

The Misawa River Sakura/Pear Blossom Festival will be held on the cherry blossom promenade along the Misawa River, surrounded by pear blossoms.

Cleaning up the Tama River

In order to keep our Tama River beautiful, we pick up empty cans and garbage thrown away on the banks and riverbeds.

Weekdays in mid to late May

US-Japan Friendship Inagi Golf Tournament

A charity golf tournament will be held in cooperation with the Tokyo Inagi Tama Lions Club.

Late May to early June

Kamiyato ( ) Firefly Night in Inagi

A firefly appreciation event will be held at Kamiyato Shinsui Park .
As an opening concert for firefly viewing, "Kamiyado Firefly Viewing Evening" will also be held.
Please be sure to check the "Koho Inagi" and the city's website for the year's viewing period and precautions.
