Mr. Egami (4th grade at Hirao Elementary School) participated in the "34th Kanagawa Trampoline Tournament" (February 2nd year of Reiwa, Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture) and won the 3rd and 4th grade elementary school girls' division. I was.
On the day of the competition, Mr. Egami was particularly conscious of stretching his fingertips and toes carefully, and he won his first victory.
Trampoline is an acrobatic performance in the air, and in addition to competing for beauty, difficulty, and height, it is a competition that evaluates how well you perform in the center of the trampoline and competes for ranking based on total points.
Four years ago at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, when athletes who were active in various events were interviewed on TV, Egami noticed that many athletes had started trampoline from an early age, and became interested in it. I was.
At first, I went to a school in Samukawa-cho, Kanagawa Prefecture once a week, but my coach established a new trampoline club in Ebina-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture. I go to In addition, we are working on various exercises such as learning gymnastics so that we can get hints on spinning techniques.

Mr. Egami's specialty is a technique called "Full Twist", which he actually showed at the competition, where he flips backwards and twists once. Also, I'm currently trying a technique called "Rudolph", which is almost completed. Both techniques are fun to jump, and he enthusiastically said that he gains confidence every time he succeeds.
Makiko Otonari, the coach of the Astraea Trampoline Club (Ebina City) where Egami attends, said, "Runa's appealing points are her beauty and flexibility from her fingertips to her toes, and her jumping power that makes the most of her body's springs. If you can control , you can aim higher."
Even now, four years after starting trampoline, Mr. Egami says that trampoline is still very fun and not difficult. He talked about his future goals, saying, "I want to practice more so that I can improve my skills, and I want to participate in the Olympics in the future."
Let's look forward to seeing Mr. Egami active on the world stage and support him.
