Regarding assistance for removing block walls, etc.

From November 16, 2018, it has become possible to issue subsidies for the removal of block walls, etc.

If all of the following apply, you will be eligible for a subsidy.
1 It must be a block wall, etc. that will be removed within the city.
2 The height of block walls, etc. exceeds 1.2 meters.
3 The total length of block walls, etc. must be 3 meters or more.
4 It must be a block wall, etc. facing a road or public land.

Note: Please be sure to apply before starting construction, and start construction after receiving the approval from the city. This does not apply during construction or after construction is completed. For more information, please contact the Town Development and Revitalization Division.

5,000 yen per meter
Note 1: Only up to 30 meters are eligible for issuance
Note 2: If the removal cost is less than 5,000 yen per meter, the subsidy amount will be the actual cost (rounded down to the nearest 100 yen).
