Reduction/exemption of parking fees at Inagi City Hall parking lot

Parking Fee

  • Free if less than 1 hour
  • 200 yen for more than 1 hour and less than 2 hours
  • If it exceeds 2 hours, the amount will be 200 yen plus 100 yen for each additional hour.
  • Maximum charge per 24 hours: 1,200 yen (for more than 24 hours, 1,200 yen plus 100 yen for each hour up to 1 hour)

When parking fees are exempted (free)

  • Emergency vehicle, used by the country or other local governments for official business
  • Persons with disabilities (those with a physical disability certificate, mental disability insurance welfare notebook, or rehabilitation notebook)

Note: This also applies when an accompanying person is driving.

Reduction and exemption system for usage time of 1 hour or more

The City Hall parking lot is free for use for less than 1 hour, but if the use is for more than 1 hour, the parking fee may be reduced depending on the usage details.
For details, please see each item of the reduction/exemption system.

Location of “Parking Ticket Service Counter”

  1. City Hall: General Information Desk, Property Management Division (On-duty staff room at night and on holidays [including days when the office is open on holidays])
  2. Central Cultural Center: Reception counter
  3. Regional Promotion Plaza: Reception counter
  4. Fire Department: Fire Department General Affairs Division

 Note: If you wish to use the second parking lot and receive a reduction or exemption, you will need to issue a parking ticket at the payment machine.

Reduction system (see city hall parking lot price list)

(1) Exemption from parking fees for users engaged in official business, procedures, etc.

Target audience

  • Users of City Hall, Fire Station, Central Education Consultation Office, Central Cultural Center, and Regional Promotion Plaza

Reduction/exemption details

  • Parking fees will be waived (free of charge) during facility usage hours.

Reduction conditions

  1. If it takes more than 1 hour due to city procedures or consultations, etc.
  2. Attendees of various meetings (councils, councils, committees, executive meetings, etc.) hosted or managed by the city
  3. Lecturers, staff, and guests (guests of honor, guests, etc.) for various events (training, seminars, events, etc.) sponsored or run by the city
  4. Attendees of general meetings, board meetings, etc. of organizations equivalent to the city, organizations co-sponsored by the city, and organizations affiliated with the city, lecturers, staff, and invitees at events, etc. (guests, guests, etc.)
  5. Businesses that come to the city to collect and deliver goods, businesses to which the city outsources operations, etc.

How to apply for exemption

  1. If you use the counter for more than one hour, please notify the respective counter (department in charge).
  2. At each counter (department in charge), you will receive a "Parking Service Ticket" which will allow you to park for free during the usage hours.
  3. Please bring the "Parking Service Ticket" to the "Parking Ticket Service Counter".
  4. The staff at the parking ticket service counter will use the authentication machine to process the parking ticket for the city hall parking lot so that the parking fee will be waived during the usage period, so please use the parking ticket after it has been processed for free at the payment machine.

Note: Please exit within 15 minutes.
Note: If you wish to use the second parking lot and receive a reduction or exemption, you will need to issue a parking ticket at the payment machine.

(2) Reduction of parking fees for users of City Hall and surrounding public facilities

Target audience

  • Those who used the following facilities: city hall, fire department, central education consultation room, central cultural center, and regional promotion plaza.

Reduction/exemption details

  • Parking fee is 200 yen for more than 1 hour and less than 4 hours. Note: Free for less than 1 hour

How to apply for exemption

  1. Please go to the "Parking Ticket Service Counter" with your parking ticket and report that you used each facility.
  2. The staff at the parking ticket service counter will use the authentication machine to reduce the amount of your parking ticket.

Note: If you wish to use the second parking lot and receive a reduction or exemption, you will need to issue a parking ticket at the payment machine.

(3) Reduction in parking fees for users of restaurants at City Hall and the Central Cultural Center

Target audience

  • Those who used the City Hall basement “Citizen Restaurant Nashi no Ki” and the Central Cultural Center “Café Polano”

Reduction/exemption details

  • Free within 2 hours. (1 hour free ticket issued)

How to apply for exemption

  1. Customers who visit restaurants will receive a one-hour free ticket.
  2. When exiting the parking lot, please insert your parking ticket and 1 hour free ticket into the exit payment machine.

(4) Parking fee reduction for households with children

The 1-hour free ticket for the city park parking lot distributed by the Child Care Support Division can be used as a 1-hour free ticket for the city hall parking lot. Instructions on how to use it are as follows.
Note: The 1-hour free ticket for the city park parking lot cannot be used at the payment machine in the city hall parking lot, so please be sure to visit the parking ticket service counter.

Target audience

  • Those who have a 1-hour free ticket for parking at a city park distributed by the Childcare Support Division.

Note: This free ticket is issued by application to a representative of a guardian raising a preschool child who is registered in Inagi City's basic resident register.

Reduction/exemption details

  • Free within 2 hours. (1 hour free ticket issued)

How to apply for exemption

  1. Please submit your parking ticket for the city hall parking lot and the 1-hour free ticket for the city park parking lot to the "Parking Ticket Service Counter". Note: Submitted 1-hour free tickets will not be returned.
  2. Staff at the parking ticket service counter will use the authentication machine to deduct the fare from your parking ticket for the City Hall parking lot, so please use the deducted parking ticket at the payment machine.

(5) Exemption from parking fees for athletic associations, federations of arts and culture organizations, and social education organizations

Target audience

  • When an athletic association, a federation of arts and culture organizations, or a social education organization (group A registered with a community center) uses the facilities of the Central Cultural Center/Regional Promotion Plaza.

Reduction/exemption details

  • Exemption during facility usage hours (free of charge) for up to 2 vehicles for transport vehicles and instructor vehicles.

How to apply for exemption

  1. You will be asked to apply for exemption from parking fees in the report submitted after using each facility (when returning the key). 
  2. The staff at the parking ticket service counter will check the report and process it for free using the authentication machine.

 Note: Please exit within 15 minutes.

(5) Exemption (free of charge) during facility usage hours is limited to two vehicles.
If it exceeds 24 hours, the charge will be 1,200 yen plus 100 yen for each hour.
Please note that each reduction/exemption provision cannot be used together.
