Shiroyama Elementary School

Our school is the second elementary school in Inagi City's Tama New Town, and is a new type of school built with careful planning and a master plan that integrates with the local environment. The school is designed and devised to incorporate a large amount of open space and allows for a variety of learning styles, including learning activities tailored to each student and group learning.
The school's educational goals are ``children who learn willingly, children who are considerate, and children who are energetic.'' In order to develop each child's individuality and ability, and to help them enjoy learning and feel a sense of accomplishment, we are improving lessons through team teaching and small group instruction.
