Hirao Elementary School

Our school opened on April 1, 2002, and moved to a new building in April 2003 after renovation work was completed. The school building has undergone a major change from its previous appearance, with orange walls giving it a warm feel. Around the school, hydrangeas planted by local people 20 years ago add seasonal color. There is also a grove of hundreds of bamboo trees, and there are many bamboo shoots in spring.
