Establishment of Inagi City Song to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Inagi City.

On November 1, 2021, the Inagi City Song was enacted as a commemorative project for the 50th anniversary of the enforcement of Inagi City.
Decide on the lyrics
We recruited lyrics from April to June 2020, and received 45 entries from all over the country. As a result of examination by the Inagi city song formulation committee consisting of experts and the mayor, Osamu Asakura (resident of Sapporo) was selected as the work.

From September 1st (Tuesday) to October 30th (Friday), 2nd year of Reiwa, we recruited songs suitable for the lyrics of the Inagi City song, and received 169 applications from all over the country. As a result of examination by Inagi-shi city song development Committee and the mayor, we decided on work of Yuki Takahashi (explanatory note: high ladder high) (resident in Yanoguchi, Inagi-shi).

About utilization of Inagi city song
The Inagi City Song Planning Committee has made suggestions on how to use the song so that it will be known to many citizens, sung with a sense of familiarity, and sung for generations to come.
The city will refer to these proposals and work to enhance the charm of Inagi through the city song and pass it on.

Creation and lending of CDs
We have created a CD of the Inagi City song and are lending it out at all libraries in the city.
Utilization as broadcast melody of disaster prevention administrative radio
Starting in March 2020, the melody of the regular evening broadcast of the disaster prevention administrative radio broadcast in Inagi City has been changed to the Inagi City song.
