Formulation of “Basic Policy on Urban Planning Roads in Tokyo”

Updated: December 15, 2019

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, special wards, and 26 cities and two towns will work together to investigate and consider unfinished urban planning roads, excluding priority development routes, etc., and will develop verification methods for reviewing urban planning roads and plan changes for individual routes. We have formulated a basic policy that outlines our response policy.
The basic policy can be viewed at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Urban Development website (external link) , the Tokyo Citizen Information Room (3rd floor, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1 Main Building), and at the counters of each ward and municipality.
