About the wooden house earthquake resistance diagnosis subsidy

Learning from past earthquakes, Inagi City is supporting the seismic assessment and renovation subsidy program to further promote the seismic reinforcement of wooden homes.
If you live in a wooden house built before 1981, take this opportunity to check the earthquake resistance of your home.

Subsidized housing

The condition is that all of the following apply.

  1. Private wooden houses or wooden apartment complexes existing in the city
  2. Those built before May 31, 1981 (including those built after June 1, 1981 and for which building certification was obtained before May 31 of the same year) , must be a residence where you are currently residing.
  3. If one building is used for multiple purposes, the majority of the total area of ​​the building shall be used for housing.

Grant recipients

The condition is that all of the following apply.

  1. Must actually own the housing eligible for the subsidy. However, if the subsidy-eligible housing is jointly owned, the applicant shall have the right of representation based on the agreement of all co-owners.
  2. The owner of the subsidy-eligible house (if the subsidy-eligible house is shared property, all co-owners) and all the residents of the subsidy-eligible house (excluding occupants living in apartment complexes) are required to pay city tax. not be in arrears

Grant amount

We will subsidize the amount of the cost (excluding tax) required for earthquake resistance diagnosis or 100,000 yen, whichever is lower.

Proxy receipt system

The proxy receipt system is a system in which diagnostic institutions receive subsidies on their behalf.
If you use this system, you can carry out an earthquake resistance diagnosis by paying only the difference between the earthquake resistance diagnosis fee and the subsidy to the diagnosis institution.

Diagnostic institution

A person who falls under any of the following.

A. Architectural firm affiliated with the Southern Branch of the Tokyo Association of Architectural Firms

B. An architect office that has been registered as an earthquake resistance diagnosis office based on the Tokyo Metropolitan Wooden House Earthquake Resistance Diagnosis Office Registration System Implementation Guidelines (September 1, 2006, 18 City Construction Plan No. 68)

C. Persons who belong to a business office whose business is based in the city and have completed the earthquake resistance training course conducted by the Japan Architectural Disaster Prevention Association (Architecture Act (Act No. 202 of 1950)) Limited to first-class architects, second-class architects, or wooden architects stipulated in Article 2.

Note: We have confirmed that the colored construction contractors in the city have also taken the course in 2021.

Types of seismic diagnosis eligible for subsidies

The types of diagnostics that are eligible for funding are as follows:

  1. General diagnosis = Diagnosis to determine whether seismic reinforcement is necessary
  2. Precise diagnosis = diagnosis with reinforcement design in mind

 
Note: Diagnosis based only on drawings (simple diagnosis) is not eligible for funding.

Application form for issuance

Please submit your application by Friday, December 13, 2020 .
Note: Even within the deadline, if the budget exceeds the budget, we may ask you to apply in the following year.
In order to receive the subsidy, it is necessary to apply for the subsidy to the city before signing a contract for seismic diagnosis, so if you are considering receiving the subsidy, please contact the city in advance.

Completion report

Please submit the report by Friday, February 7, 2020 .
Note: Even if it is within the deadline, please submit the completion report as soon as the seismic diagnosis is completed.
