Q&A overview

Contents of question Answer

Regarding the layout of City Hall, why is the Tourism Department on the 6th floor? If they were promoting it, it would have been better to leave it on the 1st or 2nd floor.

In the current layout of the city hall, the first floor was too cramped for counter services and the Economic and Tourism Division could not be accommodated there. It also was not the right time to expand the building. During the reorganization, child and childcare-related matters were consolidated and the Welfare Department became larger, so it feels like the tourism department, which was on the second floor, has been pushed out. However, the Economic and Tourism Division is more about going out and communicating with the public than providing services to visitors, and other cities are often located at the back. In the future, the tourism promotion hub will be Inagi-Naganuma Station.

About the bus stop for the airport
Since the airport limousine bus takes the high-speed train from Tama Center through Inagi Ohashi Bridge, why not stop at the rotary at Inagi (Naganuma) Station?

The first round of reviews by the Inagi City Public Transportation Review Council focused primarily on i-buses, but future plans include increasing the number of route buses and changing routes. Up until now, airport limousines could not come to Inagi due to the limited number of bus-accessible rotaries in front of the station, but now that improvements have been made, I would like to make this a request.

About street trees
Every month, we pick up trash and cut grass along the acacia tree-lined walking path, but the tops of the trees are withering, so we would like them to take care of them.
In the past, when a person was washed away while fishing, the police had to go down to the river only to find there was a lot of acacia undergrowth, and snakes appeared again, which caused a lot of trouble. I would like to see some grass mowing and maintenance at the entrances to the river.

The area outside the area rented by the city is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Even when we requested that the trees be cut down, we were told, "We have budgetary limits, and if it does not interfere with flood control or water use, we will leave it as it is." At the Misawa River, citizens were given permission to enter the river to clean it up, and the Misawa River cleanup was realized, but in any case, there is a limit to what people can do as volunteers, so we will continue to ask the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to at least maintain the entrance and walkway.

About the Tokyo Olympics
Regarding the Tokyo Olympics, a road race will be held in Inagi in July, and the course will pass through Inagi Ohashi Bridge. I think it would be great if I could run or be able to participate in the field.

First, we will work on Olympic education. The Olympic Games are not only a sports festival where people compete for the number of medals, but also a festival of peace that connects the world. It seems that they shared and experienced the Olympics together. We are asking the Board of Education to once again engage in Olympic education at all schools in the city so that children can experience and share the Olympics.
Also, like the monument at the halfway point of the marathon in Chofu, I would like to create something that will remain as a reminder that people visited Inagi even after the Olympics and that road races were held here.
There is a possibility that a road race event separate from the athletes will be held as a pre-competition scheduled to be held one year before the Olympics. It is necessary to create an environment for running in practice in the future.
We want to make the Olympics not just a one-off event, but something that everyone can participate in and that will remain in their memories and records.

About park maintenance
There were three car stops at ABC Park, so people in wheelchairs couldn't get through, so I told the management department, and they took them right away. thank you very much.
However, in preparation for the aging society and future disasters, I would like to see a parking lot that allows cars to pass straight through.

Report this to the department in charge.
